And… his onboarding doc was just leaked. 🙌

Here are 10 Wisdom Gems:

💎 MrBeast hires for 4 things:

  • Accountability 

  • Ownership

  • Creativity

  • Effort 

💎 Embrace the pivot.

MrBeast isn’t afraid to show when things go wrong. Obstacles make great content.

💎 Creativity = budget saver.

It can be easy to throw money at a problem to solve. The harder and often more valuable thing is to give yourself a financial constraint.

Ex: I must find a way to solve X problem for free.

💎 Results > hours.

YouTube rewards results, not effort. MrBeast doesn’t care if you worked 20 hrs and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a video if it sucked.

💎 Don’t do anything someone else can do.

MrBeast does what he does best: he creates the most engaging YouTube videos. If someone else is better at something, he outsources it to them.

💎 Create “wow” moments.

The “wow” factor is what makes you unique and allows the audience to feel emotionally connected to you. It’s what AI can’t take from you.

Ex: MrBeast’s crazy extreme challenges. Who else willingly spends 7 days buried alive? (hopefully, no one!)

💎 Be honest, not nice.

MrBeast is willing to have hard conversations and be brutally honest with his team. Honesty builds great teams, not sugarcoating the truth.

💎 Obsession over balance. 

MrBeast spends nearly all his waking hours creating YouTube videos. Shopping? Playing Board games? “Just chilling”? Not MrBeast, unless it’s for content.

💎 Consultants are a gift from God. 

MrBeast asks his employees to repeat back to him, “I will always check with consultants before starting a task.”

Ex: If you want to bake the biggest slice of cake in the world, find the person who baked the current biggest slice.

💎 Push through no (while respecting consent).

Ex: If one Dollar Store employee won’t let you film, ask other employees there. If they say no, call all the Dollar Stores until you get a yes.
